General terms of sale and use

1. Purpose

These terms govern access to and use of the GeoGenee online service (the "Service"), published by Genee, as well as the subscription to paid plans. Creating an account or subscribing implies full and unconditional acceptance of these terms.

2. Description of the Service

GeoGenee is a SaaS software product used to measure and optimise a brand's visibility in AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Mistral, etc.), to technically audit a website and to generate an action plan. Available features depend on the subscribed plan.

3. Account

Access requires creating an account with a valid email address. The user is responsible for keeping their credentials confidential and for any activity carried out from their account.

4. Plans and pricing

Current plans and prices are presented on the Pricing page of the website. Prices are stated in euros, exclusive of tax where applicable; the applicable VAT is added at payment. Genee reserves the right to change its prices, with the new terms applying to subsequent subscription periods.

5. Free trial

Some plans include a 7-day free trial period. At the end of the trial, the subscription is automatically billed according to the chosen plan, unless cancelled before the end of the trial period.

6. Payment

Payments are processed securely by our provider Stripe. Genee never has access to your full card details. The subscription is automatically renewed at each billing date (monthly or yearly) until cancellation.

7. Cancellation

The user may cancel their subscription at any time from the "Billing" area (Stripe customer portal). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; no pro-rata refund is due for the period already started, except where mandatory legal provisions state otherwise.

8. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with the French Consumer Code, consumers have a 14-day withdrawal period. However, for services fully performed or started with the customer's express consent before the end of this period, this right may not apply. For professionals (B2B use), the right of withdrawal does not apply. [To be adapted to your customer target]

9. Promo and referral codes

Promotional and referral codes are subject to conditions of use (duration, combination, cap) defined by Genee and have no cash value. Genee reserves the right to cancel any code used fraudulently.

10. Availability and liability

Genee uses reasonable means to ensure the availability of the Service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. As the Service relies on third-party APIs, some measurements may vary. Genee's liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user over the last 12 months.

11. Personal data

The processing of personal data is described in our Privacy policy.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute and failing an amicable resolution, jurisdiction is granted to the courts of Lyon.
